med8r One of the great things about this soundtrack is how well it follows the tones of the game. The beginning of the album has barely any non-orchestral instruments, but electronic elements slowly build as the sci-fi nature of the plot is revealed. So satisfying! Favorite track: Ascension.

The soundtrack for the game ARK : Survival Evolved, recorded by the 93-piece Philharmonia Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.

ARK, an early access title has been in that status for just over 2 years. The music has changed and 'evolved' throughout that time period, and the music on this album represents the final versions heard in the game, as opposed to the mockups that have been present throughout most of early access.

An immense number of people came together to produce this gargantuan soundtrack, a beastly work which I greatly enjoyed composing. The scope and size of the score of the game, whilst intimidating, has pushed me to write in ways I didn't know I was capable of. I hope the players and listeners enjoy it, and I look forward to continuing working in this world beyond August 29th and with the game's expansions.
